What's on?

December                       skate into the festive season

Get your skates on and come and experience Brighton & Hove's vibrant entertainment scene! There's just so much cool stuff to see and listen to around Brighton & Hove in the run up to Christmas, such as...checking out the various concerts at the Dome and the brighton centre

Friday 21st sees the shortest day of the year which is marked by an old pagan ceremony (instituted 6 years ago also known as Burning of the Clocks) where the seafront is transformed into a fancy dress party! The procession, with its explosion of colour and fireworks finale, provides a great spectacle and is worth skating down after work to see.  This solstice parade starts at 6pm.

Once the excesses of Christmas are over why not really get your skates on for public skating sessions at the Brighton centre before the annual Holiday on Ice show starting in January

If the festive season conjures images of dressing up and fashion rather than skating why not visit the little black dress exhibition at the Brighton museum featuring LBD's from previous decades.

And don’t forget all the cool parties taking place over New Years weekend in Brighton along with those welcome big red January sale signs, a real excuse to get your skates on and book a mini break in Brighton!
